[Financial News] Samsung Securities held an investor relations (IR) event for outstanding companies leading K-Momentum in shipbuilding, defense, nuclear power and mobility.
According to Samsung Securities on the 5th, the KSS IR Day (Korea SME's & Startup Scaleup IR Day) was held at Samsung Financial Campus in Seocho District, Seoul, on the 28th of last month.
The event was held under the theme “Power of Korea: K-Momentum.” Han Young-soo, an analyst at Samsung Securities, opened the program with an introduction on the “supercycle” and shared the industries’ medium- to long-term growth outlook.
Seventeen promising listed and unlisted companies—including Green Optics, Sensorview, EnerTalk, HogreenAir, Quantum Aero, J Labs, MUtron, Verti, KMCP, DeepFusion AI, TAS GLOBAL, NeoArcRobotics, TOFF MOBILITY, Mobility One, RTM, Beyond R and GIF Korea—then presented their technologies and growth strategies. In particular, each company’s chief executive officer and IR representative delivered the presentations directly, offering investors insights.
More than 200 people attended the event, including representatives of corporate venture capital (CVC) firms, venture capital (VC) firms, private equity (PE) firms, asset managers and general corporations who had registered in advance through Samsung Securities.
The KSS IR Day has been held by Samsung Securities since August 2021, providing ongoing opportunities for promising small and midsize companies and startups to interact with Samsung Securities’ KSS IR members. On the 15th of next month, Samsung Securities plans to hold another IR event featuring listed and unlisted companies under the theme “K-Content to Watch Next Year.”
Oh Sun-mi, an executive in charge of SNI and platform strategy at Samsung Securities, said, “KSS IR Day is an efficient structure in which companies conduct IR presentations directly to prepared investors, while investors quickly and accurately receive carefully selected corporate information. We will continue expanding our role as a unique platform connecting wealth management and corporate finance.”
