[Financial News] GS Retail will publicly recruit entry-level employees for the second half of 2026 across three business divisions: convenience stores, supermarkets, and home shopping.
According to industry sources on the 4th, GS Retail will select dozens of entry-level employees for each of the following positions: sales management at GS25, store sales at GS The Fresh, and merchandising, producing, and marketing at GS Home Shopping. Applications will be accepted from the 7th through the 21st on the GS Retail recruitment website.
The recruitment process will consist of document screening, an artificial intelligence (AI) competency assessment, a first-round interview with working-level staff, and a second-round interview with executives. GS25 and GS The Fresh will operate four-week recruitment-linked internships after the first-round interviews. Applicants will gain hands-on experience through job training and field assignments. GS Home Shopping will recruit entry-level employees without a separate internship program.
Successful candidates will build job expertise at the respective business sites. GS25 will support them in developing into operations and franchisee-relations specialists, known as operations field consultants (OFCs), while GS The Fresh will help them grow into store operations specialists. Successful GS Home Shopping candidates will gain commerce-related experience, primarily in merchandising, producing, and marketing.
Jung Young-tae, head of GS Retail’s Human Resources and General Affairs Division, said, "GS Retail provides entry-level employees with opportunities to gain broad experience in the field and in business operations and to grow into retail experts in their respective areas, based on its diverse retail businesses, including convenience stores, supermarkets, and home shopping. We look forward to receiving many applications from talented individuals who possess the ‘warmth’ to respect colleagues and grow together, as well as the ‘competence’ to proactively deliver results based on expertise."
