Researcher Kim Jang-won stated, "The second-quarter earnings of Hansol Paper and Hansol Technics improved," adding, "A favorable trend is expected as the strong performance of key subsidiaries leads to improved earnings for the holding company."
Hansol Paper recorded an operating profit of 50.8 billion won in the second quarter, a 163% increase compared to the same period last year. Analyst Kim analyzed, "The effect of the improved business structure, driven by special demand for high-profit industrial paper and thermal paper, has become apparent."
Hansol Technics also saw improved profitability in the second quarter. Analyst Kim explained, "Business performance is improving as the business structure is being reorganized around profitability and the solar module business is being adjusted."
