One Dead in Collision Involving 13-Ton Truck on Ulsan’s Gyeongbu Expressway

【Financial News Ulsan = Choi Su-sang】 A 13-ton cargo truck rear-ended a 4.5-ton truck traveling ahead at around 3:09 a.m. on the 4th. The accident occurred at kilometer 39.3 on the southbound Gyeongbu Expressway in Samnam-eup, Ulju County, Ulsan.
The driver of the 13-ton cargo truck died at the scene, and the entire front section of the vehicle, including the cab, was destroyed by fire.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze within 20 minutes of arriving at the scene.
Police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
