Benjamin Netanyahu: Iranian Regime Collapse Imminent... "Within Reach"

[Financial News] Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed strong confidence that the Islamic Republic of Iran's regime could soon collapse, stating that the resumption of U.S. attacks has left the regime in its weakest state in history.
On the 3rd (local time), Agence France-Presse (AFP) reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at an event with the Israeli military leadership, "The Iranian regime is currently faltering and fighting for survival while weaker than ever."
Benjamin Netanyahu emphasized, "I am confident that we can completely eliminate this threat," adding, "The key task is to remove the Iranian regime, which is by no means impossible and is within reach."
Previously, Israel launched a joint military offensive against Iran with the United States last February, but U.S. President Donald Trump abruptly declared a ceasefire in April. However, tensions are rising again this week as the United States intensifies economic pressure while resuming airstrikes on mainland Iran.
Following the resumption of U.S. airstrikes, Iran launched retaliatory attacks against U.S. allies in the Gulf region, Jordan, and the Kurdish autonomous region of Iraq, but excluded Israel from the targets.
In response, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu asserted, "It is no coincidence that Iran does not attack us," adding, "It is because they are well aware of Israel's formidable military power and strong determination."
Foreign media outlets are noting that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's remarks came just two months before the Israeli general election to be held on October 27. With Benjamin Netanyahu currently trailing opposition candidates in some polls and facing fierce criticism from opposition leaders regarding his "failure of policy toward Iran," these hardline statements are being interpreted as a strategic move to take the lead on security issues.
