[Financial News] Actor Ha Ji-won opened up about feeling hurt after her employees repeatedly turned down her invitations to company dinners. On the tvN variety show 'You Quiz on the Block,' which aired on the 2nd, she discussed the current state of her company and her self-care routine.
Three years ago, Ha Ji-won revealed on 'You Quiz on the Block' that she had founded and was running an entertainment company. She has since expanded into cosmetics and art and now serves as the CEO of three companies.
When asked whether she often said anything to her employees, she replied, "I don't really say much." Ha Ji-won said she had once tried to approach them first, adding, "I did try before."
Ha Ji-won said she had suggested getting meals with her employees, but their schedules never seemed to align. "When I asked, 'Can you have dinner after work today?' they all said they had plans," she recalled. "When I asked because I wanted to have a company dinner, they said none of their schedules worked. They said they couldn't do it until the end of the month. After a while, I became hesitant." She added, "These days, I don't even say, 'Let's have a company dinner' or 'Let's get a meal.'"
The program also revealed Ha Ji-won's self-care routine. She said she had recently been hearing the phrase "hope for middle age" frequently and explained how she maintains her physique: "I work out in a way that really challenges my muscles. If I hold on until I feel an electrical sensation and communicate with my muscles, the deeper muscles grow."
She also said she continues to manage her diet and skin. "Whether it's my skin or my body, it's important to recognize my own condition. I check my skin's moisture level every day and choose the appropriate care. I also weigh myself daily and focus on relaxing contracted muscles, which seems to help with elasticity," she said, adding that she regularly consumes olive oil, lemon, and honey.
