Land Minister Nominee Hong Ji-sun Reports 829.87 Million Won in Assets, Including Guro Apartment

[Financial News] Hong Ji-sun, nominee for Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, reported total assets of 829.87 million won under the names of himself, his spouse, mother and child.
According to the confirmation hearing request submitted to the National Assembly on the 3rd, Hong reported an apartment in Guro-dong, Guro District, Seoul, jointly owned with his spouse and valued at 1.005 billion won, along with deposits and vehicles.
Hong’s personally reported assets totaled 216.61 million won.
The figure included approximately 500 million won representing half of his share in the jointly owned apartment, a 6.57 million-won 2016 Hyundai Sonata, and 154.54 million won in deposits, offset by 447 million won in financial debt.
In addition to the jointly owned apartment, his spouse reported total assets of 282.62 million won, including a 4.54 million-won 2009 Audi A6, deposits, stocks, financial debt and 170 million won in personal debt.
The child was reported to hold 700,000 won in deposits.
His mother reported total assets of 329.95 million won, including a 325 million-won apartment in Janghang-dong, Ilsandong-gu, Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province, and 24.95 million won in deposits.
