Iran Attacks U.S. Military Base in Kuwait; Kuwait Calls It a “Direct Threat”

[Financial News] As military clashes between the United States and Iran continue, Iran attacked a U.S. military base in Kuwait with missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (drones).
According to Agence France-Presse (AFP) on the 3rd (local time), the Kuwaiti military said on X (formerly Twitter), "Kuwait's air defenses are responding to missiles and drones launched in the Iranian attack."
Kuwait's Foreign Ministry described the attack as "a direct threat not only to Kuwait's security and stability, but also to the safety of citizens and residents within its territory." It also condemned the act as a serious violation of international law.
Iran's military also acknowledged the attack. According to Iranian state broadcaster IRIB, the Iranian military claimed that it had struck a U.S. military satellite communications network, equipment storage facilities, and fighter-jet hangars at Ahmed Al-Jaber Air Base in Kuwait with missiles and drones that morning.
The Iranian military added that it had also attacked U.S. personnel and radar systems at Al Minhad Air Base in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The United States and Iran have continued exchanging attacks and retaliatory strikes since the 30th of last month over access through the Strait of Hormuz. After the United States attacked facilities belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Iranian government-owned oil tankers, Iran has successively targeted U.S. military bases in Jordan, Bahrain, the UAE, and Kuwait.
