[Financial News] President Lee Jae Myung said at a senior secretaries’ meeting he chaired at Cheong Wa Dae on the 3rd, "There is now exactly one month left until the Public Prosecution Office and the Serious Crimes Investigation Agency open." He added, "The goal of all reforms is to bring about tangible improvements in people’s lives. In other words, the goal is reforms aimed at improving people’s livelihoods."
He continued, "Moreover, reform is not a phrase in a law book. It is completed and evaluated in the daily lives of our people." He instructed officials, "For the remainder of the period, we must thoroughly overhaul the relevant systems and rigorously implement the necessary policies so that not even the slightest gap occurs in protecting the people’s lives, safety, and rights."
