University of Seoul to Openly Recruit 16 Full-Time Faculty Members for the First Half of the 2027 Academic Year

[Financial News] The University of Seoul (UOS) announced on the 3rd that it will openly recruit 16 full-time faculty members to join its faculty in the first half of the 2027 academic year. The scheduled appointment date is March 1, 2027.
Applicants must hold a doctoral degree or be expected to obtain one as of the application deadline and must meet the requirements for their respective fields. To ensure fairness and expertise, the university plans to select the final candidates through a three-stage review process consisting of basic screening, field-specific review, and interviews.
The recruitment will seek one person in each of 16 academic fields, including comparative politics (regional studies) and international politics in the Department of International Relations. Detailed eligibility requirements by field and further information about the recruitment will be available from September 7 on the UOS faculty recruitment website and HiBrainNet, an academic and faculty research information platform.
Applications will be accepted for seven days, from September 15 to 21. Applications may be submitted online only through the UOS faculty recruitment website.
