Gravity Launches New Racing Game 'Hashire HEBEREKE: EX'

[Financial News] Gravity has launched its new racing game 'Hashire HEBEREKE: EX' in global markets. The game aims to offer an experience distinct from conventional racing titles through its unique characters, newly added modes, and support for simultaneous play with up to eight players.
According to industry sources on the 3rd, Gravity began selling Hashire HEBEREKE: EX on Steam and Nintendo Switch. The game can be purchased and downloaded through its official Steam page and the Nintendo eShop.
In Hashire HEBEREKE: EX, players choose one of several characters—including the artificial 'Hebe,' 'O-chan,' 'Jennifer,' and 'Sukezaemon'—and race on courses filled with items and obstacles. Players can also select their preferred course and difficulty level.
This remake adds new modes to the original mode.
There are six playable modes in total. In 'Story' mode, different narratives unfold depending on the character, with the goal of completing all 10 stages. 'Time Attack' is a single-player mode in which players compete against past records and challenge their personal bests. In 'Engacho,' a tag mode, the player designated as 'it' must catch the other players while carrying poop on their head.
'Battle Run' is a competitive race that splits the screen into two or four sections and supports up to four players. 'Popun Battle' is a competitive mode in which players throw Popun at their opponents. Hitting an opponent three times wins the round, and the first player to win two rounds takes the match. In 'Rhythm Game' mode, players input commands in time with the incoming Popun to build combos. The scoreboard also shows each player's best record and ranking.
Hashire HEBEREKE: EX is the first game in the series to support online multiplayer, allowing up to eight players to play simultaneously. Local play supports up to four players. The game is priced at 29,000 won and supports nine languages, including Korean, Japanese, English, and simplified and traditional Chinese.
