According to industry sources on the 3rd, Tim Hortons will open its first flagship store in Korea in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, within the year, embodying the brand's authenticity.
Tim Hortons has begun construction on its Seongsu flagship store with the goal of opening within the year. As the first flagship store since entering the Korean market, it is designed as a space where customers can experience the brand's identity and Canadian heritage.
The Seongsu flagship store will showcase specialized menus and content previously unavailable in Korea. In particular, it features a concept inspired by Banff National Park, a representative natural heritage site of Canada. The plan is to enhance brand awareness by designing the space to allow visitors to experience the essence of Canada, a land of nature, even within the city.
Since entering the Korean market, Tim Hortons has expanded its business scope through coffee, donuts, and a variety of food menus. Along with its unique signature menus, it is continuously developing new menus that reflect the tastes of Korean consumers.
"We are preparing this store to allow customers to experience Tim Hortons' Canadian heritage and brand identity more broadly," a Tim Hortons official said. "We will showcase new appeal through menus exclusive to Seongsu and a differentiated spatial design."
Meanwhile, flagship and pop-up stores from the food and beverage (F&B) industry are opening one after another in Seongsu-dong. Nongshim opened "Shin Ramyun Bunsik: The Factory" to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Shin Ramyun's launch, offering merchandise sales and ramen tastings, while Burger King opened "Flame Ground," the world's first flagship store, on the street right next door.
