【Financial News, Chuncheon = Kim Ki-seop】Ten companies from Gangwon Province held export consultations in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, pursuing contracts worth $4.6 million.
Gangwon Techno Park said on the 3rd that it participated in the 2026 Korea-Vietnam Mega Us Expo, held in Ho Chi Minh City from August 25 to 29, and operated an export consultation session exclusively for Gangwon companies. The event was jointly organized with the KNU Startup Innovation Center, Kangwon National University Anchor Project Group, and Kangwon National University Technology Holdings Company. Ten companies from the province participated in the information and communications technology, artificial intelligence, cosmetics and beauty devices, food, and raw materials and components sectors.

At the consultation session held on August 28 at the Eastin Grand Hotel Saigon, 26 local buyers took part in one-on-one consultations. A total of 62 consultations generated $8,227,000 in export consultation value, $4,602,000 in prospective contracts, $505,000 in on-site contracts, and 10 intercompany memoranda of understanding.
