Jang Dong-hyuk: "President Lee Jae Myung Must Withdraw the Nominations of Kim Seung-won and Yong Hye-in"

[Financial News] People Power Party leader Jang Dong-hyuk urged President Lee Jae Myung on the 3rd to "immediately withdraw the nominations of Kim Seung-won, nominee for minister of the Ministry of Justice, and Yong Hye-in, nominee for minister of the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family."
Speaking at a Supreme Council meeting held at the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, Jang said, "This Cabinet reshuffle has already received a failing grade from the public," making the statement.
Jang said, "The new-drug bribery case involving nominee Kim is becoming increasingly outrageous. The broker who runs an adult entertainment establishment called nominee Kim 'oppa.' Nominee Kim copy-and-pasted the broker's messages and sent them to the head of the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, then copy-and-pasted the head's messages and sent them back to the broker." He added, "Once the deal went through, nominee Kim even sent the account number himself. This is clearly bribery."
He pointed out, "This case would not have ended with deferred prosecution if it had not been during the Moon Jae-in administration, yet nominee Kim is making excuses about the politically motivated prosecution. He is a 'copy-and-paste expert' who even copies Lee Jae Myung's repertoire." He continued, "The broker reportedly said that she knows a great deal about the core figures of the Moon Jae-in administration. We do not know how many more 'oppa' figures will emerge."
Jang criticized the nomination, saying, "There is only one reason this person was appointed as minister of the Ministry of Justice: the administration needs a minister who will go all in on withdrawing indictments without regard for the consequences."
Regarding nominee Yong, he claimed, "There have been allegations that she was involved in an underground organization within the Labor Party, an organization that claims to be the successor to the Korean Communist Party and aims for a communist revolution." He continued, "The organization's representative, which allegedly normalized gender discrimination internally while engaging in 'fiery feminist' activities externally, was nominee Yong's spouse. When the spouse stepped down after the gender-discrimination issue came to light, nominee Yong took over as representative, and the organization led the founding of the Basic Income Party."
Jang denounced her, saying, "The reason nominee Yong refuses to resign from her proportional-representation parliamentary seat is obvious. Her spouse's income, as well as the organization's salaries, would be cut off." He added, "It is not the Basic Income Party but the Organization Income Party."
He went on to say, "Mocking nicknames such as 'Privilege-in' and 'Cheonryong Hye-in' have even emerged. Only the presidential office and Democratic Party of Korea leader Kim Min-seok support nominee Yong, while everyone else opposes her regardless of political faction or generation." He added, "She should not merely have her ministerial nomination canceled; she should also resign from the National Assembly. The Democratic Party of Korea, which helped make her a lawmaker twice, must also take responsibility."
