[Financial News] Hecto Group is continuing its employee blood donation campaign for the 10th time and will also support children with cancer.
Hecto Group announced on the 3rd that it held the 10th HECTO& blood donation campaign for employees over two days, from August 31 to September 1.
HECTO& is a corporate social responsibility initiative through which Hecto Group employees personally donate blood and practice sharing life. The group conducts regular blood donation campaigns as part of its ESG management efforts.
Marking the 10th campaign, the company expanded the scope of its support by adding corporate donations to blood donation certificates contributed by employees.
Hecto Group will set aside 10,000 won for each blood donation certificate donated by an employee and deliver the entire accumulated amount to the Korea Child Cancer Foundation. The funds will be used to cover treatment costs for children with cancer.
Employees who donated blood donation certificates received 30 sachets of Hecto Healthcare’s health supplement O2 Booster Fresh.
Some employees have participated in every campaign, from the first through this 10th drive. Shin Hyun-soo, a manager at Hecto Innovation, said, "I naturally took part whenever the company held a blood donation campaign, and it is meaningful to have reached the 10th one already." He added, "I feel rewarded knowing that I can help someone through blood donation."
Yoo Joo-song, head of the Organizational Culture Office at Hecto Group, said, "This campaign is meaningful because the company adds its donations to the blood donation certificates contributed by employees to support treatment costs for children with cancer." Yoo added, "We will continue activities that enable employees and the company to create social value together."
