[Financial News] NAVER is partnering with EBS to expand Naver Plus Membership’s digital-content partnership offerings to include educational e-books. It has introduced a plan that provides access to approximately 500 EBS e-book titles covering elementary, middle, and high school content for ₩9,900 a month.
NAVER announced on the 3rd that it launched “EBS e-book Elementary, Middle, and High School All-Pass” on the 2nd as a paid, optional digital-content offering within Naver Plus Membership. EBS e-book is a subscription service that provides EBS’s educational content in e-book format.
EBS currently offers approximately 230 elementary and middle school titles for ₩12,900 a month, and approximately 340 middle and high school titles for ₩15,900 a month. Naver Plus Membership combines the two plans and makes them available for ₩9,900 a month.
Members can enjoy unlimited access to approximately 500 EBS e-book titles for elementary, middle, and high school students, including storybooks, language-learning books, College Scholastic Ability Test study materials, online lectures, and question banks.
Naver Plus Membership costs ₩4,900 a month, or ₩3,900 a month with an annual pass. Members can choose one of Netflix, Spotify, PC Game Pass, WEBTOON, or SERIES each month.
In addition to its basic benefits, Naver Plus Membership also offers paid options for subscribing to additional content. EBS e-book has now been added to the existing Spotify and WEBTOON·SERIES Cookie options. The additional monthly fees are ₩5,900 for Spotify, ₩4,900 for WEBTOON·SERIES Cookies, and ₩9,900 for EBS e-book.
The EBS e-book subscription can be purchased by the primary Naver Plus Membership member, who can then register their own or their child’s EBS ID to use the service.
Jung Han-na, a membership leader at NAVER, said, “We will continue to expand lifestyle-oriented benefits covering both online and offline services by collaborating with a wide range of partners.”
