"Improving Housing Environments for Low-Income Families"... Hyundai L&C Collaborates with Korea Energy Foundation on Energy Efficiency Improvement

[Financial News] Efforts to strengthen the expertise of on-site construction personnel are continuing to enhance the effectiveness of housing environment improvement projects for low-income households.
Hyundai L&C announced on the 3rd that it signed a 'business agreement for construction training for energy efficiency improvement projects for low-income households' with the Korea Energy Foundation at its headquarters in Seocho District, Seoul, on the 2nd.
The Low-Income Household Energy Efficiency Improvement Project is a government-supported welfare program that improves living environments by replacing windows, boilers, and other equipment in residential facilities and social welfare facilities for energy-vulnerable groups.
Through this agreement, Hyundai L&C and the Korea Energy Foundation plan to enhance the capabilities of window and insulation installation personnel and improve construction quality. To this end, they will cooperate on: jointly developing and operating customized window installation training courses; collaborating on wall insulation training; and providing support for educational infrastructure such as training facilities and teaching materials.
In addition, Hyundai L&C plans to share window installation standards and practical on-site experience with approximately 180 construction companies nationwide participating in the project, and to provide professional instructors, training venues, and teaching materials.
Lee Dong-sup, Head of the Window & Door Business Division at Hyundai L&C, stated, "We plan to actively support practical training to ensure that participating contractors can stably respond to various sites," adding, "We will continue our cooperation with the Korea Energy Foundation based on our expertise in the window and door sector."
