[Financial News] Lotte Department Store announced on the 3rd that its four branches in the Busan area will begin full-scale sales of the “2026 Chuseok Gift Sets” from the 4th through the 23rd.
Every year, Lotte Department Store leads holiday gift-giving trends in the retail industry through differentiated planning based on the latest customer purchasing data.
For this Chuseok promotion, the retailer will offer a diverse selection of fresh foods subject to its strict quality standards, along with specialized gift sets that reflect the characteristics of customers at each branch.
Lotte Department Store Busan Main Store has significantly expanded its top-tier premium lineup. One featured product is the “L’épicerie Royal Gift,” which contains only premium specialty cuts—including tenderloin, striploin, marbled beef, and hanging tender—from 1++(9)-grade Korean beef. In the wine category, the store will exclusively sell the winning wine from “2026 The V:lind,” selected through expert tastings as part of an exclusive department-store promotion. It will also offer the “Art Special Edition,” created in collaboration with leading Korean contemporary artists Shim Moon-seop and Lee Kang-so.
Lotte Department Store Gwangbok Branch is focusing on practical value amid the trend of value-conscious consumption. It has prepared a “Mixed Fruit Set” featuring shine muscat grapes, apples, pears, and apple mangoes, as well as the “Family-Customized Korean Beef Set,” a practical combination of sirloin and bulgogi priced in the 200,000–300,000 won range. These offerings broaden the options for customers seeking useful gifts.
Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch has strengthened its Korean beef lineup with products such as “Korean Beef Premium Steak” and “Royal Korean Beef Steak,” featuring sirloin and tenderloin steaks that emphasize the authenticity and elegance of traditional holiday celebrations. Lotte Department Store Centum City Branch, meanwhile, is highlighting sophisticated gift sets such as olive oil and balsamic vinegar sets for customers pursuing trendy lifestyles and wellness.
The four Lotte Department Store branches in the Busan area have also expanded shared benefits and dedicated services for corporate and bulk purchasers, as well as mobile shoppers, in addition to customers visiting the stores.
The stores are operating the “Lotte Gift Club,” which provides customers who purchase Chuseok food gift sets worth at least 1 million won in bulk at offline stores with complimentary Lotte gift certificates worth approximately 7% of the purchase amount, depending on the spending tier. For online purchases of Chuseok food gift sets through Lotte Department Store Mall, the promotion also offers an 8% complimentary benefit and up to 8% in L.POINT rewards.
Yang Hyun-mo, head of the food team at Lotte Department Store Busan Main Store, said, "For this year’s Chuseok, we prepared high-quality, differentiated gift sets tailored to the characteristics of each branch by actively reflecting customers’ diverse lifestyles and increasingly segmented tastes."
