[Financial News] A large-scale recruitment festival bringing together outstanding companies in the Busan region and young job seekers will be held.
Busan Metropolitan City Government announced on the 3rd that it will hold the '2026 Busan Youth Mega Job Fair' at BEXCO Exhibition Center 2 on the 21st.
This fair will be held as a large-scale integrated event based on collaboration among industry, academia, and government, ranging from corporate recruitment to job experience and counseling, as well as guidance on youth policies.
This year, job fairs that have previously been conducted individually by various institutions and universities have been combined into one, providing local youth with a wide range of employment opportunities and companies with a chance to meet outstanding local talent.
Young people can receive systematic support from job preparation through actual hiring.
The event features a diverse range of activities, including recruitment interviews and consultations with leading companies, live job sessions led by current employees, AI-based career consulting, and healing and experience zones.
As part of the recruitment interviews and consultations with leading companies, about 100 outstanding companies in the Busan area—including companies popular with young people, local companies, and companies recognized for excellent employment practices—will operate corporate recruitment booths and conduct on-site interviews and recruitment consultations for local youth.
Any interested young job seeker can apply to participate through the website by the 18th. On-site registration will also be available on the day of the event.
Kim, Gwiok, Director of the Youth Industry-Academic Affairs Bureau at Busan Metropolitan City Government, said, "This fair is significant not only because it connects Busan's companies and young people in one place, but also because local employment agencies, universities, and the business community are working together to support youth employment."
