Busan Metropolitan City Government to Accept Applications for Written Exams at 13 Affiliated Public Institutions, Hiring 163

[Financial News] Busan Metropolitan City Government announced on the 3rd that it will begin accepting applications on the 17th for the “2026 Second-Half Integrated Written Examination for Public-Sector Employees.”
In the second half of this year, 13 institutions—including Busan Transportation Corporation, Busan Facilities Corporation and Busan Environmental Corporation—will hire a total of 163 people.
The institutions’ hiring quotas are as follows: Busan Transportation Corporation, 11; Busan Metropolitan Corporation (BMC), 3; Busan Tourism Organization (BTO), 3; Busan Facilities Corporation, 50; Busan Environmental Corporation, 61; Busan Research Institute, 1; Busan Economic Promotion Agency, 8; Busan Design Promotion Agency, 2; Busan Cultural Foundation, 5; Busan Cinema Center, 7; Busan Institute of Science and Technology Higher Education, 5; Busan Cultural Center, 2; and Busan Technology Startup and Investment Agency, 5.
Applications will be accepted from 10 a.m. on the 17th until 5 p.m. on the 23rd. Applications must be submitted online through the city’s integrated public-sector recruitment website, and applicants may not apply to two or more institutions or submit multiple applications to a single institution.
The written examination will be held on the 24th of next month. The test location will be announced separately on the city’s integrated public-sector recruitment website.
Busan Metropolitan City Government will announce the written-examination passers at 2 p.m. on November 4 on the city’s integrated public-sector recruitment website.
A personality test will then be administered to those who pass the written examination, followed by document screening and interviews conducted by each institution.
