[Financial News] KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 3rd that it conducted practical training for executives and division heads on utilizing the generative artificial intelligence (AI) 'Microsoft Copilot' in actual work.
The training was organized to allow executives to directly utilize AI, experience changes in work methods, and spread this throughout the organization. It was conducted in two sessions on the 25th of last month and the 2nd of this month. Approximately 50 executives, including the president of KB Kookmin Bank, participated.
Participants enhanced practical application in the field by structuring the project as a hands-on exercise to directly draft their respective organizations' business plans for the following year using generative AI. In particular, the bank's president personally participated in the practical session to improve AI utilization capabilities starting from the management team and to spread this throughout the organization.
The bank's president stated, "Leaders must first utilize AI in actual work and experience its effects for a culture of AI utilization to spread rapidly throughout the entire organization," adding, "We will continue to strengthen our employees' AI utilization capabilities."
