[Financial News] HYBE is partnering with the government to develop young talent who will lead the future of the K-pop and content industries.
HYBE announced on the 3rd that it held an orientation ceremony for its youth growth-support program ‘HI, HIGH’ at its Yongsan headquarters in Seoul on the 2nd and officially began the training.
‘HI, HIGH’ was established as part of the ‘K-New Deal Academy’ initiative promoted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL) and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) to strengthen young people’s job skills and support employment. HYBE executives, 28 selected trainees, and practical instructors attended the ceremony.
‘HI, HIGH’ will run for approximately 12 weeks, beginning with the orientation ceremony and continuing through November 20. Trainees who complete all the courses will receive certificates of completion, while outstanding graduates will be offered opportunities for HYBE internships.
A HYBE representative said, "We hope this training will help young people deepen their understanding of the entertainment industry and the practical aspects of content production," adding, "We hope it will give trainees an opportunity to experience various training sessions and projects while building the skills needed in related fields."
