"Create More Jobs," Job Seekers’ Union Leader Booked After Nude Protest at National Assembly

[Financial News] An official of the National Job Seekers’ Labor Union was booked by police after staging a nude protest at the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea to demand more jobs.
According to police and other sources on the 3rd, Seoul Yeongdeungpo Police Station booked and is investigating a man surnamed Kim, the union’s chairman, in his 70s on suspicion of public indecency.
Kim is suspected of protesting naked on the central lawn of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea in Yeouido, Seoul, on the 1st.
At the time, he reportedly demanded job creation while displaying a banner stating, "The suicide rate among unemployed people has reached 60%."
Kim reportedly attempted to ingest poison during the protest but was stopped by National Assembly staff members.
Police who responded to the report took Kim to the station for questioning voluntarily.
