[Financial News] SK Telecom announced on the 3rd that it is running the “CSAT Support Guide,” an online encouragement campaign for students and parents, 77 days before the 2027 CSAT.
The “CSAT Support Guide” was created to convey parents’ desire to support their children and to boost test-takers’ confidence and luck through encouragement.
SKT has been running “The Start of Encouragement,” a campaign using nostalgic pager codes, since the 11th of last month, 100 days before the CSAT. Starting on the 3rd, it will operate three programs that parents and children can join together: a support lecture, “The Essentials of Encouragement,” and lucky-card rewards. Anyone can participate through the campaign website, regardless of their mobile carrier.
In the “Support Lecture” program, parents can take a short quiz to identify their encouragement style and learn ways to support their children preparing for the exam. The quiz results can be shared through KakaoTalk, text messages, or copied links.
In “The Essentials of Encouragement,” parents can select a background design and create a text or video message for their children. The completed message can be sent to the children through KakaoTalk, text messages, or links. Students who receive a message can enter a “Random Lucky Gift Draw” for a chance to receive one of several gifts, including snacks and beverages. Gifts will be given to the first 50,000 participants.
“Lucky Card Rewards” allows students to enter information such as their date of birth and create personalized lucky cards based on fortune-telling. Participants can save or share cards featuring their preferred designs and meanings of good luck with friends. Those who post their cards on Instagram, Threads, or X can also enter the “Lucky Gift Package” event. The event runs through the 30th, and selected winners will receive physical key rings made from the lucky cards they created, along with other lucky items.
SKT plans to unveil additional benefits for test-takers sequentially starting on the day of the CSAT. Details will be announced on the “CSAT Support Guide” campaign page on the day of the exam.
Yoon Jae-woong, head of SKT’s Product & Brand Division, said, “With 77 days remaining until the CSAT, this is a time when test-takers—and the families who have spent so much time by their side—need warm encouragement. We have prepared a range of programs and benefits so that students and parents can naturally share their feelings and move through the remaining period with renewed energy.”
