[Financial News] Daewoong Pharmaceutical is strengthening the capabilities of its overseas partners to expand Nabota’s business in global markets.
On the 3rd, Daewoong Pharmaceutical announced that it is conducting the global academic training program ‘NABOTA EDGE’ for 40 representatives from partner companies in 22 countries at Parnas Hotel on Jeju Island through the 5th.
The event was organized to deepen partners’ understanding of Nabota’s product and brand and strengthen the expertise needed to conduct academic and marketing activities in their respective markets.
The training covers Nabota’s global business direction and brand strategy, as well as its product characteristics and global clinical data. A hands-on program is also being offered to help participants gain a more detailed understanding of the product.
The program also includes training on academic communication with medical professionals. Topics include facial anatomy required for botulinum toxin procedures, Nabota injection guidelines, safety management, and responses to adverse events.
A program for sharing business experiences by country has also been arranged. Partners are discussing business cases from major regions, including Korea, the Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and Latin America, as well as investigator-initiated trials (IITs), academic platform operations, and brand management.
Daewoong Pharmaceutical believes that the role of its partners is becoming increasingly important as Nabota’s global business expands. Because partners handle not only product supply but also academic training and marketing for local medical professionals, the company aims to enhance the expertise of personnel in each country and ensure consistency across its global operations.
Nabota is Daewoong Pharmaceutical’s botulinum toxin product and is currently approved in 69 countries, including the United States, Europe, and Asian markets. The company is expanding overseas markets through partnerships in approximately 80 countries. After surpassing KRW 1 trillion in cumulative sales this year, it is targeting annual sales of KRW 300 billion this year.
Daewoong Pharmaceutical plans to continue expanding training programs not only for medical professionals but also for overseas partners, thereby strengthening the foundation of Nabota’s global business.
Yoon Jun-soo, head of Daewoong Pharmaceutical’s Nabota Business Division, said, "As Nabota continues to grow in global markets, it is important to enhance partners’ expertise in the product and brand in each country. We will strengthen our cooperation system so that headquarters and partners can share academic and business strategies and consistently communicate Nabota’s value in each market."
