[Financial News] Hyundai Motor Company announced on the 3rd that it will introduce a new showroom consultation reservation service, allowing customers to choose their preferred time and location for a consultation instead of using the previous system, under which customers could not independently select when and where to visit a showroom.
Until now, the purchase consultation service on the official website operated by having a sales consultant contact customers after they submitted an inquiry and coordinate a schedule. Although the system appeared convenient, it was difficult to arrange consultations at times preferred by customers.
The new service reverses that process. Customers first select the showroom, visit date, and time, and can also enter their vehicle interests and questions in advance.
The service is simple to use. Customers can select “Showroom Consultation Reservation” from the purchase consultation menu on the official Hyundai Motor Company or Genesis website and enter their preferred conditions. The service is available on both PC and mobile devices. Reservations can be made from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.
The key feature is entering information in advance. Customers who provide their preferred vehicle model, desired purchase timing, or questions beforehand can have showroom staff review the information and prepare for the consultation. This allows the discussion to begin immediately with the topics they need to address.
For example, customers who want to know about a particular vehicle’s features or purchase terms can submit those questions, while customers planning to visit with their children or wishing to check specific details can make such requests during the reservation process. Through the service, the company aims to ensure that interest generated through online research naturally leads to a showroom visit, consultation, and eventual purchase.
An event marking the service launch will also begin. Among customers who reserve a showroom consultation and complete the consultation from September 4 through October 31, 30 will be selected by lottery to receive fuel gift certificates worth 50,000 won. In addition, six customers who proceed from a consultation to an actual contract will receive Korea Tourism Gift Certificates worth 500,000 won. Further details are available on the official Hyundai Motor Company website.
A Hyundai Motor Company representative said, "We prepared this service so that customers can receive purchase consultations more conveniently at the time and place they prefer," adding, "We will continue strengthening customer touchpoints so that interest that begins online naturally leads to showroom consultations and the purchasing experience."
