On the 3rd, Bank of Hope announced the full-scale launch of the Hana Real Estate Value-Up Platform, which is designed to maximize the value of commercial and aging properties and provide customers with optimized professional solutions.
Bank of Hope will serve as the control tower, precisely assessing customers’ real estate assets and connecting them with specialized companies best suited to the characteristics of each property.
Bank of Hope signed a strategic partnership memorandum of understanding with five specialized companies in different areas of real estate at its headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, on the 2nd. Key partners include Kyungdong Housing, a construction company specializing in building remodeling and value enhancement; The PCM Advisor, a company specializing in real estate development and project management (PM); MGRV, the operator of the co-living residential brand Mangrove; Share.IT, a specialized solutions company for pop-up stores and underused commercial spaces; and FASTFIVE, the No. 1 shared-office platform in South Korea.
Through the agreement, Bank of Hope plans to analyze customers’ property characteristics and needs, then seamlessly connect them with appropriate partners for each stage, from planning, design, construction, and leasing to space operations. The bank aims to lower the barriers to entry in the complex process of real estate development and utilization and establish a comprehensive value-enhancement system that supports the entire business process.
Bank of Hope described the value-up platform as a higher-level asset management service that goes beyond simple advice on buying and selling real estate to address customers’ concerns about how to utilize their properties and provide practical solutions. The bank plans to expand its collaboration with specialized companies in various fields.
