Hoengseong County to Hold Job Fair on the 9th, with 12 Leading Companies Hiring About 100 People

【Financial News Hoengseong = Kim Ki-seop】Hoengseong County will hold its 2026 job fair at an indoor gymnasium on the 9th, where 12 leading local companies will hire about 100 people.
According to Hoengseong County on the 3rd, the fair is co-hosted by Hoengseong County and the Gangwon State Economic Promotion Agency and organized by the Hoengseong County Job Support Center. It was arranged to ease the hiring difficulties faced by leading local companies while providing job seekers with quality employment opportunities and tailored employment support services. The participating companies include 12 businesses driving the local economy, such as Seoul F&B, Dongwon Systems’ Hoengseong plant, Daehwa Pharmaceutical, Yuyu Healthcare and Hansolecopackaging. They will conduct on-site interviews and recruitment information sessions.
The event will feature on-site recruitment interviews, recruitment information sessions and promotional videos from participating companies, as well as convenient, hands-on services to help job seekers prepare for interviews. Visitors can use the job information network, AI mock interviews, résumé and personal statement consulting, strengths-based career consulting, personal color analysis, interview makeup services and résumé photo booths.
Booths tailored to different age groups and target audiences will also be available. In addition to employment counseling for seniors aged 60 and older and a recruitment booth for career military personnel, the Hoengseong County Social Economy Center will provide startup counseling. The event will also offer information on the Youth Challenge Program and labor counseling, along with a mental health consulting booth to support job seekers’ emotional well-being. Other activities designed to relieve job seekers’ stress include fingerprint-based career aptitude tests, career tarot cards, four-cut photo sessions and calligraphy messages of encouragement.
Shim Eun-kyung, head of Hoengseong County’s Economic Policy Division, said, "We have organized the fair so that job seekers can complete everything they need to prepare in one place, from recruitment interviews with 12 companies to AI mock interviews and employment consulting." She added, "We will continue developing it into a platform for mutual benefit, where local companies short of workers and job seekers looking for employment can meet one another."
