[Financial News] Creator and singer Charming Jo (real name Jo Jang-woo) announced that his social media account had been hacked and asked people to unfollow it.
On the 1st, Charming Jo uploaded a video titled "It’s Not Me" to his YouTube channel.
In the video, Charming Jo said, "Everyone, please unfollow my Twitter (now X) account."
Charming Jo also explained when he last accessed the account. He said, "The last time I logged in was around September or October last year. It was when I went to film 'Duet Across the Sea.' I posted something to recruit participants, and that was it, but for the past few days, strange posts urging people to invest have been appearing."
He said there had also been something unusual while he was trying to recover the account. Charming Jo stated, "When I tried to recover my X account, I found that the account email had been completely changed. It was an email beginning with characters I had never seen before."
Charming Jo said investment-related posts continued to appear on his X account even after he posted a notice announcing a break. He reacted in confusion, saying, "What is going on right now? What am I supposed to do?"
Born in 1994, Charming Jo is 31 years old and a YouTuber with 1.04 million subscribers. He recently announced his marriage to fellow 1994-born singer Song Ha-ye.
