Sogang University Real Estate Studies Graduates Donate 43.5 Million Won to Lee Sang-geun Real Estate Studies Development Fund

[Financial News]  Seventeen master's and doctoral graduates of Sogang University's cooperative program in real estate studies donated 43.5 million won to the Lee Sang-geun Real Estate Studies Development Fund to support junior students and the program's development.
Sogang University announced on the 2nd that it held a ceremony on the 1st to present the Lee Sang-geun Real Estate Studies Development Fund in the president's reception room at the university's main building.
The Lee Sang-geun Real Estate Studies Development Fund was established through voluntary contributions from master's and doctoral alumni of Sogang University's cooperative program in real estate studies to support the program's development and foster junior students. This time, 10 doctoral graduates donated 25 million won and seven master's graduates donated 18.5 million won, bringing the total to 43.5 million won.
The ceremony was attended by alumni Shin Yang-ho, Oh Hae-jong, and Han Jin-hee as representatives of the doctoral graduates, and Kim Nam-gil, Kim Byung-wan, Chae Su-in, and Lee Hoon-young as representatives of the master's graduates. Representing the university were President Sim Jong-hyeok, Vice President for External Affairs Song Tai-kyong, and Director of External Relations Lee Sang-geun. Park Young-hee, president of the doctoral alumni association, and Lim Jae-ho, president of the master's alumni association, also attended.
Shin Yang-ho, an alumnus and representative of the donors, said, "We were able to come this far thanks to our professors' guidance over the past three years," adding, "I hope it becomes the best graduate school of real estate studies in South Korea." 
Sogang University President Sim Jong-hyeok said, "Since its launch, the cooperative program in real estate studies has grown rapidly, producing numerous academic papers and doctoral graduates," adding, "I hope the sincerity you have shown will serve as a foundation for the real estate studies major to make an even more positive impact on our society."
