On the 2nd, the Jeonbuk State chapter of the People Power Party issued a press release, saying, "Once again, Jeonbuk’s name was missing from a large-scale national support project that could determine the region’s future in industries, research, and the development of young talent." It added, "Where are those who proudly claimed that 'Jeonbuk’s political influence had grown' whenever politicians from Jeonbuk took one central government post after another?"
The party continued, "As the power and positions held by Jeonbuk’s politicians continue to grow, why are the opportunities that Jeonbuk residents should enjoy constantly shrinking?" It emphasized, "What residents want now is not glamorous titles, but responsibility for protecting the future of industry and jobs, universities, and young people."
