[Financial News] Rosé of BLACKPINK reportedly turned down an advertising model offer worth approximately 10 billion won. Some interpret the decision as a sign that she is carefully selecting brand collaborations after expanding her career as a global pop artist.

According to foreign media outlets, including The Korea Herald, and industry sources, Rosé reportedly rejected an advertising model contract worth approximately $7.2 million (about 10 billion won) offered by a well-known Chinese tea beverage brand.
Discussions for a collaboration with a famous champagne brand also reportedly failed to materialize. Rosé is said to have spent about a year considering special-edition products bearing her name, but the collaboration did not proceed because she was dissatisfied with the proposed bottle design.
The outlet also highlighted Rosé’s elevated status. It said, "After the worldwide success of ‘APT.,’ Rosé has established herself as a global pop artist recognized under her own name, rather than remaining merely a member of BLACKPINK," adding, "She has gained the kind of freedom to choose that only a select few K-pop artists possess. In other words, she has reached a position where she can reject offers based on her own standards, even when they would be difficult to turn down."
Meanwhile, Rosé debuted as a member of BLACKPINK in 2016. She began her solo career in 2021 and achieved global success in 2024 with “APT.,” a song created with pop star Bruno Mars.
