Ahn Young-mi: "I Didn’t Have a Wedding Ceremony"—Why She Only Registered Her Marriage

[Financial News] Comedian Ahn Young-mi revealed that she started married life by registering her marriage without holding a wedding ceremony.
On the MBC radio program 'Duseiui Date' broadcast on the 1st, Ahn Young-mi spoke about her wedding ceremony.
When a listener said, "I’m worried because holding a wedding ceremony isn’t easy," Ahn Young-mi replied, "I didn’t have a wedding ceremony. I only registered the marriage and didn’t wear a wedding dress, so I don’t know how difficult the preparations are."
Ahn Young-mi also shared what she had heard from people around her about preparing for a wedding. "But judging from what people around me say, it’s really not something you want to go through," she said. "Preparing for a wedding is this difficult, but once you get to the wedding venue, it’s over in 20 minutes." She continued, "If you both insist on having your own way, you’ll argue and only end up upset with each other. Let’s each give a little," comforting the listener. She then joked, "I’ll even give you some baby supplies in advance as a gift."
Meanwhile, Ahn Young-mi married a non-celebrity man living in the United States in 2020. The couple maintained a long-distance marriage, and she gave birth to their first son in 2023. She had their second son last June.
