[Financial News] Booyoung Group will provide KRW 250 million to Changshin University, where it has participated as a financial contributor. The funding will be used to establish a faculty and staff cafeteria, as well as spaces for receiving external guests and holding business meetings in the social sciences building.
According to Booyoung Group on the 2nd, the project is being pursued to improve the welfare of Changshin University members and create communication spaces for external visitors. Including the approximately KRW 370 million provided for campus environmental improvement work in March, the group’s support this year exceeds KRW 600 million.
Booyoung Group has continued providing various forms of support since becoming a financial contributor to Changshin University in 2019. Every year, it provides all incoming students with full tuition scholarships for one year, while nursing students receive 50% scholarships. The group also operates employment-linked programs to help strengthen students’ competitiveness in the job market. To date, Booyoung Group has provided a cumulative KRW 8.9 billion in scholarships to Changshin University. With this support, Changshin University achieved a 100% enrollment rate for the fifth consecutive year in its recruitment of students for the 2026 academic year. A Booyoung Group official said, "We will continue to help Changshin University develop through practical support that university members can genuinely experience."
