Shindonga Construction Appoints Chae Jeong-seop as New CEO

[Financial News] Shindonga Construction has appointed Chae Jeong-seop, a former CEO of a BS Group affiliate, as its new CEO. Following the appointment, Shindonga Construction will operate under a co-CEO structure led by Chae Jeong-seop and Kim Se-jun.
According to Shindonga Construction on the 2nd, Chae was born in 1965 in Damyang, South Jeolla Province. He joined Bosung Construction, now part of the Hanyang group, in 1992 and held key positions across the construction industry, including development projects, architectural sales, and corporate planning.
Since 2018, he has successively served as CEO of Hanyang, Bosung Industry, and Solaseado. He led major projects, including Cheongna City Tower, Cheongna International Financial Complex, the Saemangeum tourism and leisure development project, and the development of the Haenam County corporate city of “Solaseado.” Chae said, “I will drive the company’s continued growth based on my extensive field experience and ability to get things done.” He also urged employees, saying, “Let us work together with a shared sense of purpose as we confront the crisis facing the construction industry.”
