SGC E&C Introduces Next-Generation Construction Management System to Strengthen Competitiveness

[Financial News] SGC E&C is introducing a next-generation construction management system called Advanced Work Packaging (AWP). Through the system, the company plans to enhance its project execution capabilities and strengthen its competitiveness in winning contracts.
According to SGC E&C on the 2nd, the AWP system is a solution that integrates and manages the entire project process—including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning—based on digital data.
The system systematically manages drawings, quantities, materials, and key design data generated during the design phase, improving data consistency and currency. It also links verified design information to work packages for the procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
This enables the company to establish an optimal construction plan in advance, maximize construction efficiency, and monitor progress in each phase in real time, the company explained.
With the introduction of AWP, SGC E&C aims to move beyond simple work efficiency improvements and gain an advantageous position in domestic and overseas plant markets. The company will combine the technical expertise and project execution experience accumulated through its in-house engineering organization with an integrated, data-based construction management system. SGC E&C plans to consider gradually expanding AWP implementation to all projects in the future.

Meanwhile, SGC E&C is a construction company that has strengthened its competitiveness with a focus on its plant business. The plant business's share of total revenue increased from 56% in 2024 to 71% in 2025.
