Responding to Disasters and Voice Phishing with AI... KT Unveils Safety AX Solutions

[Financial News] KT will unveil safety solutions that use artificial intelligence (AI) to monitor disaster sites and detect voice phishing. The company will showcase safety AX technologies covering everyday life and industrial sites, from a platform for integrated control of unmanned vehicles such as drones to a zero-trust-based Wi-Fi security service.
KT announced on the 2nd that it will participate in the '2026 K-Safety Expo' and introduce safety solutions powered by AI technology and AX infrastructure.
The K-Safety Expo, held in Busan from the 2nd through the 4th, is a specialized exhibition for the safety industry jointly hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety (MOIS) and Busan.
At the expo, KT will showcase technologies and solutions supporting safety in everyday life, industrial settings, and disaster sites, including safety AX solutions, an intelligent disaster-site response system, AI-based voice-phishing prevention, and network security.
KT will exhibit its real-time remote monitoring service, 'SafeMate.' Based on a system linked to emergency numbers 112 and 119, SafeMate supports monitoring and rapid response in emergencies such as crimes and fires.
KT will also introduce the 'KT Safety Unmanned Mobility Integrated Control Platform,' designed to search disaster sites such as collapses and fires that are difficult for rescue personnel to access. The platform enables operators to control and monitor various unmanned vehicles, including drones, unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), and unmanned surface vessels (USVs), from a single platform.
KT will also present the 'AI Voice Phishing Detection Service 2.0,' which analyzes calls in real time with AI to detect voice-phishing risks. In addition to its existing scenario analysis, the service adds voice recognition for phishing perpetrators and deepvoice detection, creating a three-layer prevention system that combines scenarios, voices, and deepvoices. In the future, KT plans to launch version 3.0, a multimodal service that comprehensively analyzes not only voices and text but also nonverbal elements such as speech patterns, intonation, and speaking speed.
KT will also exhibit its network security service, 'KT Wi-Fi Guard.' Through an agent installed on a Wi-Fi router, KT Wi-Fi Guard allows only authorized devices to connect and blocks unauthorized access and hacking attempts based on zero trust.
Lee Jin-kwon, senior vice president and head of the Enterprise Proposal and Implementation Division at KT's Enterprise Business Unit, said, "We hope this expo will provide an opportunity for visitors to directly experience KT's diverse safety AX solutions and technological capabilities in disaster and safety management."
