According to Chuncheon City on the 2nd, the Chuncheon Mall Chuseok promotion will run on Chuncheon Mall through the 17th. During the event, 30% discount coupons usable on all products, including dakgalbi, will be issued every Thursday at 3 p.m. The coupons are valid for two days from the date of issuance, and only 300 will be released each week, so they may run out quickly.
The promotion is part of a Chuseok campaign for municipal online malls jointly organized by 18 cities and counties in Gangwon State. Local specialties and gift sets are gathered in one place, giving consumers more choices while providing local businesses with sales channels connected to holiday demand. The initiative aims to ease the burden of holiday shopping and expand online sales for Chuncheon-based businesses.
A Chuncheon City official said, "We organized this promotion to connect more consumers with Chuncheon's quality products, such as dakgalbi, and to expand the benefits of holiday shopping." The official added, "We will actively promote the event so that it leads to higher sales for local businesses and greater awareness of local products."
