[Financial News] Busan Metropolitan City Government and Busan Tourism Organization (BTO) announced on the 2nd that they will operate the experiential tourism program “2026 Second-Half Marine Healing Program” every weekend from the 5th through October 31, using Busan’s coastline.
The program was designed to help participants restore balance between body and mind against the backdrop of the sea, while allowing residents and tourists to experience Busan’s marine tourism more easily in their daily lives.
During the second half of the year, popular programs held in the first half will continue at Busan’s seven major beaches. Festival-style and stay-based programs will also be added to further expand the marine healing offerings.
Among them, the “Marine Healing Festa” will be held at Haeundae Beach on the 19th. Around sunset, instructor Kim Tae-hee’s “Pilate” and Isabel Kwak’s “Ambient Gong Flow” will be presented against the backdrop of the sea, offering a special marine healing experience that combines movement and sound.
Stay-based programs linking Busan’s diverse spaces with its marine resources will also be available. “Walking Busan Through Sound” is an experiential program in which participants record the sounds of Busan while exploring local landscapes. In Yeongdo, they can experience coastal scenery and coffee, while in Gijang-gun, they can visit Ahopsan Bamboo Forest and a seaside village. Transportation and lunch will also be provided.
The one-night, two-day Busan Ocean Retreat, another stay-based tourism program, will also be offered. It combines a yacht experience, massage, a welcome dinner and networking, allowing participants to enjoy marine leisure activities on the water along with relaxation and social interaction.
All programs will operate by advance reservation. Applications and detailed schedules can be found on the Busan Marine Healing Littleli application website or the Coco Island website.
Meanwhile, BTO operated various programs in the first half of the year, including beach yoga, sunset Pilates, ocean running and the Ocean Singing Bowl Lounge. A total of 1,632 people participated.
