[Financial News] The Department of Instrumental Music at Sungshin Women's University will hold the “Sungshin Philharmonic Concert Celebrating the 90th Anniversary of Sungshin Academy with the Local Community” at Lotte Concert Hall in Jamsil, Seoul, on the 23rd to mark the 90th anniversary of the founding of Sungshin Academy.
Sungshin Women's University announced on the 2nd that it organized the concert to share culture and the arts with local residents as well as university members.
The concert will be conducted by Kim Young-eon, with flutist Choi Ha-won and oboist Yoo Su-jeong appearing as soloists. The program will feature Moscheles’s “Concerto in F Major for Flute, Oboe and Orchestra” and Dmitri Shostakovich’s renowned “Symphony No. 5 in D Minor, Op. 47,” among other works.
Sungshin Women's University President Lee Seong-geun said, "To mark the 90th anniversary of the founding of Sungshin Academy, we have created a meaningful occasion for university members and our neighbors in the local community to connect and share inspiration through music. The high-quality performance that members of the Sungshin Philharmonic Orchestra have prepared over a long period will leave a deep impression."
