"7,000-Won Discount at 10 Local Commercial Districts"... BC Card Moves to Stimulate Consumer Spending

[Financial News] BC Card announced on the 3rd that it will launch a discount promotion for Seoul Local Brand Commercial Districts. BC Card customers can activate the "Local Brand Commercial Districts" discount benefit in Paybooc and receive a 7,000-won billing discount for each district when they spend at least 20,000 won at participating merchants in the local commercial districts through December 20.
Customers can receive a total discount of up to 21,000 won if they use all the benefits available for each commercial district. However, the benefit is limited to once per day and up to three times per month. The promotion may end early if the budget is exhausted.
Customers can pay with personal credit or debit cards issued by BC Card member companies. The member companies include Woori Card, Hana Card, NH Nonghyup Card, Industrial Bank of Korea, KB Kookmin Card, iM Bank, Busan Bank, BNK Kyongnam Bank, Shinhan Card, Suhyup Bank, Gwangju Bank Headquarters, and BC Baro Card. "Seoul Local Brand Commercial Districts" is a project that identifies competitive commercial districts in Seoul and encourages their autonomous growth.
Kim Hojeong, an executive at BC Card, said, "The goal is to provide tangible spending benefits to customers who visit local commercial districts and opportunities to increase sales for small business owners." He added, "We plan to continue expanding cooperative projects for the local economy by leveraging BC Card's payment infrastructure and diverse marketing capabilities."
