RIDI Joins Hands with Google to Protect Intellectual Property

[Financial News] RIDI has been selected as an official partner of Google’s global intellectual property (IP) protection program, Trusted Copyright Removal Program (TCRP). The selection is attributed to RIDI’s focus on copyright protection, including the operation of a dedicated team responding to the illegal distribution of content since 2023.
According to industry sources on the 2nd, TCRP is a global IP protection program operated by Google. Partner status is granted only after a review to companies with a track record in combating illegal distribution and systematic operational capabilities. About 200 companies and organizations worldwide currently participate in the program. Partners are granted privileges such as priority processing for bulk reports, relaxed limits on the number of reports, and streamlined review procedures.
RIDI introduced its proprietary AI agent for monitoring illegally distributed content, increasing the number of works monitored monthly twelvefold and the average daily number of reports fivefold. Through rapid detection and response, it has recorded a blocking rate approaching 90% on average. RIDI is estimated to have prevented approximately 1 trillion won in damages by removing a cumulative 113 million cases of illegal content.
A RIDI representative said, "We will continue to advance our AI technology and expand cooperation at home and abroad to take the lead in protecting creators’ legitimate rights."
