[Financial News] Joonggonara is enhancing delivery convenience by launching 'Munap Taekbae,' a service that allows users to ship items from a location of their choice.
According to industry sources on the 2nd, Munap Taekbae is Joonggonara's official delivery service, allowing users to complete the entire transaction process—from listing and payment to shipping—through the app. Sellers can select the 'Sell via Munap Taekbae' option when listing an item. After signing up for Munap Taekbae and packing the item, the seller leaves it at the designated location. A courier then collects the package from that location and delivers it to the address entered by the buyer. Buyers can track the item's delivery status in real time through the app.
Joonggonara has previously offered an integrated pickup delivery service within its app. With the launch of Munap Taekbae, however, it has streamlined the process from item listing through delivery.
Reflecting the characteristics of Joonggonara users, who frequently trade through delivery, the company has raised the maximum value of items eligible for delivery from 500,000 won or less to up to 3 million won. It has also divided delivery fees into more detailed tiers based on the item's price.
The company plans to introduce a feature within the year that will allow users to ship items without revealing their address or contact information to the other party in the transaction.
Joonggonara will also run a free-delivery promotion throughout September. Sellers who sell items priced above 70,000 won through Joonggonara Safe Payment and complete the transaction during the promotional period using Munap Taekbae will receive reimbursement for the actual delivery fee incurred, up to 5,000 won per order. The benefit can be used without a limit on the number of transactions during the promotional period. Delivery fees will be paid automatically after the transaction is completed, when the sales proceeds are settled, without a separate application.
Choi Inwook, CEO of Joonggonara, said, "Munap Taekbae was designed to reduce the burden of shipping for sellers and make the transaction process smoother, so that anyone can use secondhand trading easily and conveniently." He added, "We will continue to carefully identify the various inconveniences our users experience, actively reflect their diverse feedback, and continuously improve the quality of our services."
