[Financial News] Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KOTEC) announced on the 2nd that it had signed an MOU with NICE Information Service to pursue an artificial intelligence (AI)-based technology and credit information business tailored to technology companies.
The agreement was established to jointly pursue a credit information business specializing in technology companies.
Under the agreement, the two organizations will jointly identify new AI- and data-based credit information businesses; pursue credit information services tailored to technology companies; exchange and jointly utilize technology and credit information; conduct joint marketing to expand credit information services; and engage in strategic cooperation to advance the credit information business.
In particular, combining companies' financial and credit information with technology innovation information and the Innovation Growth Capability Index, which assesses their technological capabilities and growth potential, is expected to enable a comprehensive examination of the characteristics and growth prospects of technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises.
Kwon Hyung-taek, chairman of KOTEC, said, "This agreement is significant because it establishes a foundation for analyzing technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises from multiple perspectives by combining the technology evaluation information accumulated by KOTEC with corporate credit information from the private sector. We will continue to develop differentiated AI-based credit information services by expanding cooperation with private-sector specialists and enhance the value of utilizing corporate information."
