According to Korea Land Trust on the 2nd, the preparatory committee for the reconstruction of Hansol 1, 2 and 3 Complexes submitted a special maintenance plan based on a resident proposal to Seongnam-si in July. It then prepared a supplementary action plan that fully reflected the city’s advisory opinions and consultations with relevant agencies, and submitted the final proposal on the 1st.
Under the submitted plan, the existing 1,872-unit apartment complex in and around Lot 110, Jeongja-dong, Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, covering 157,124.50 square meters, will be transformed through reconstruction into a large-scale complex with up to 37 floors, 18 buildings and a total of 3,447 units.
The preparatory committee and Korea Land Trust incorporated numerous specialized design features unique to the complex into the final proposal. To address the area’s unmet demand for recreational sports facilities, a large park and indoor sports facilities will be arranged in connection with each other within the complex to improve convenience. The plan also establishes a green network organically linking Bulgoksan, Tancheon and Bundang Central Park. Open community facilities will be installed along pedestrian-only roads, creating green spaces accessible to all local residents.
Seongnam-si will review whether to accept the final proposal for up to 90 days. After procedures including public inspection and notice and hearing the opinions of the council, a final decision on whether to designate the area as the second special maintenance district is expected in December.
A Korea Land Trust official said, "We carefully reviewed Seongnam-si’s advisory opinions and faithfully reflected them in the final proposal." The official added, "We will also move forward with the remaining procedures swiftly to achieve a successful reconstruction."
