[Financial News] Urban Zakapa and 10 cm will present live performances at Seoul Children's Grand Park without a separate stage. A hidden artist, whose identity will be revealed at the venue, will also appear.
According to Arts Council Korea on the 2nd, the '2026 Art Forest Festival WITH Background Live' will be held at Seoul Children's Grand Park on October 3. The event adopts the production style of the YouTube channel 'JAYKEEOUT's Background Live,' making it difficult to predict the performance times, locations, and lineup.
Launched in 2023 and now in its fourth year, the Art Forest Festival is a cultural arts patronage event that connects online content with an offline festival.
Experiential programs will also be offered with pianist Yoon Han, DJ Joseph, Annoying Box, artist Han Wan-jeong, and Geuryeobori. The YouTube channels 'KWONTTOTTO,' 'Jo Hyun Ah's Ordinary Thursday Night,' and 'JAYKEEOUT' will participate in on-site programs promoting the value of supporting cultural arts.
The three channels donate 10 won to the Theatre Tomorrow Fund for every view of their published content. Launched after actors Shin Goo and Park Geun-hyung supported cultural arts, the fund is a fundraising campaign run by ARKO. All donations will be used to support the growth of young theater artists.
Anyone who donates at least 5,000 won to the fund by the 18th will automatically be entered for a chance to attend the festival. A lottery will select 300 donors, inviting a total of 600 people, including one companion per donor. Instead of selling paid tickets, the festival links donations with the opportunity to attend, which is one of its distinguishing features.
Lee Beom-heon, chair of ARKO, said, "This year's Art Forest Festival is meaningful because it has lowered the barrier to supporting cultural arts by joining forces with YouTube, a familiar platform," adding, "We will continue to improve accessibility so that everyone can enjoy the arts comfortably and take part in supporting them."
