[Financial News] Samsung Electronics will showcase ‘AI Living’ during IFA Berlin 2026, Europe’s largest home appliance exhibition, which opens on Sept. 4. The concept expands artificial intelligence beyond connections between home appliances and smart devices to entertainment, energy management, health and other aspects of everyday life. The company aims to connect TVs, home appliances and mobile devices within a single AI ecosystem, offering experiences tailored to each person’s lifestyle and needs.
Samsung Electronics said on Sept. 2 that it will operate an exhibition hall under the theme ‘Your companion to AI Living’ at Humboldt Carré in central Berlin, Germany, where IFA will run through Sept. 6.
At the Entertainment Companion Zone inside Humboldt Carré, Samsung Electronics will showcase next-generation display technologies and various new products, building on its technological leadership as the global TV market leader for 20 consecutive years. Micro RGB, which incorporates next-generation TV technology, uses microscopic red, green and blue LEDs to precisely render color, contrast and clarity, delivering improved picture quality.
The Vision AI Companion, applied to the 2026 TV lineup, uses conversational AI to provide personalized content recommendations and context-specific information without disrupting the viewing experience.
Samsung TV Plus, Samsung Electronics’ ad-supported free streaming service, is expanding into a media platform, surpassing 100 million monthly active users worldwide. The Odyssey G7, the world’s first 42-inch curved OLED gaming monitor, delivers an immersive gaming experience through its large screen and 4K OLED picture quality. The 27-inch Odyssey G6 supports the world’s first 1,100Hz ultra-high refresh rate, rendering fast movements smoothly and clearly.
Samsung Electronics will also showcase Home Companion appliances designed to save energy in everyday life and use space efficiently. The Bespoke AI Family Hub refrigerator offers a personalized food experience, using camera-based AI Vision technology for functions ranging from automatic ingredient recognition to recipe recommendations. In particular, the Family Hub’s large touchscreen serves as an integrated energy management system that monitors and controls the power consumption of connected home appliances in real time. The kitchen display will include appliances that combine space efficiency with energy savings, such as a hood-integrated induction cooktop that automatically draws in cooking fumes without a separate hood and a built-in dishwasher designed to blend seamlessly with kitchen cabinetry.
The clothing-care lineup also incorporates Samsung Electronics’ distinctive energy-saving technologies and advanced space-efficient design. The Bespoke AI Washer uses a high-efficiency inverter motor to precisely adjust its operation according to the load and balance the laundry during the spin cycle, reducing unnecessary energy consumption. It uses 70% less energy than the European A-rated energy-efficiency standard.

The Care Companion Zone will feature various Galaxy products, including the Galaxy S26 FE, Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9. The exhibition will also include a space where visitors can experience the Galaxy S26 FE, which launches on Sept. 4.
Samsung Electronics will also operate the Samsung Creator Hub at the IFA Palais exhibition space in the main IFA venue, Messe Berlin, offering programs that allow visitors to experience the Samsung AI ecosystem.
Benjamin Braun, Samsung Electronics’ European Chief Marketing Officer, emphasized, "AI must deliver meaningful benefits that people can directly see and feel in their everyday lives. At IFA Berlin 2026, we will demonstrate practical and accessible applications of AI across entertainment, mobile devices and the connected home ecosystem."
