U.S. Strikes Iran Again; Trump Says "Airstrike Targeted the Timing of Radar Reconstruction"

[Financial News] U.S. President Donald Trump, who launched an airstrike on Iran two days after his last one, stated that the strike was carried out to destroy Iran's radar. He warned that if Iran retaliates against the United States, it will be punished even more severely.
In a phone interview with Fox News on the 1st (local time), Trump explained the background of the airstrike carried out on southern Iran that day. He stated, "We targeted Iran's moves to rebuild radar that was destroyed by previous airstrikes by the U.S. and Israel."
Trump explained, "The U.S. military has been continuously monitoring Iran's attempts to rebuild its radar system," adding, "We waited until the work was nearly complete before launching the airstrike."
On the same day, immediately after the airstrike on Iran, he posted on the social media platform Truth Social, warning, "If failed Iran retaliates against this perfectly justified attack, it will face a much more powerful and massive attack." Trump asserted, "That won't be the biggest attack. The biggest attack is still waiting in the background, and once that attack is over, there will be almost nothing left of Iran."
The United States, which has been conducting airstrikes on Iran alongside Israel since February of this year, fiercely bombed Iranian military equipment and facilities until the ceasefire last April. Subsequently, the United States continued sporadic clashes around the time the memorandum of understanding ending the war was signed in June. The United States halted airstrikes on July 30 and did not officially attack Iran until the 29th of last month.
However, in an announcement on the 30th of last month, the United States attacked Iranian rocket launchers, claiming that Iran had attempted to lay remote mines using rockets in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran responded on the same day with airstrikes on U.S. military bases in Jordan. Two days later, on the 1st, the United States again attacked Iranian targets in the Strait of Hormuz and southern Iran. Iranian media claimed that the United States attacked Bandar Abbas, Jask, Chabahar, Konarak, Minab, and Sirik in southern Iran, as well as Qeshm Island in the Strait of Hormuz and the civilian airport in Jiroft in southeastern Iran. In response, the Iranian government announced on the 1st that it had retaliated by attacking U.S. military bases in Jordan with ballistic missiles. On the same day, local media reported that the Iranian military had attacked U.S. military bases in Bahrain with drones.
