Korea SMEs and Startups Agency Discusses Export, Manpower, and Financial Support for Companies in Hadong County

[Financial News] Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME) held a meeting to promote the innovative growth of promising companies in Hadong County, Gyeongsangnam-do, and to resolve on-site difficulties.
According to KOSME on the 2nd, Hadong County Governor Kim Hyun-soo and representatives from eight local small and medium-sized enterprises in the food and environmental sectors attended the meeting chaired by KOSME Chairman Kang Seok-jin.
The participating companies proposed strengthening support for developing overseas markets and exports, expanding human resources support to encourage long-term employee retention, and increasing financial support for purchasing local agricultural products.
Following the meeting, Chairman Kang visited Joeun Environment Co., Ltd., a company specializing in the design and construction of wastewater treatment facilities, to discuss innovative growth strategies, including securing patents and carrying out research and development (R&D) projects.
Chairman Kang said, "Hadong County is a region that embraces mountains, rivers, and the sea, including Jirisan, the Seomjin River, and Namhae County. It has the potential for innovative growth across various industries, including food processing utilizing excellent agricultural and specialty products, as well as the environmental, tourism, and technology sectors." He added, "We will work closely with Hadong County to actively support the growth of promising local companies."
