[Breaking] Kim Jongcheol Named Deputy Commissioner General of the National Police Agency; Ko Beom-seok to Seoul, Yoo Seung-ryeol to Incheon

[Financial News] Kim Jongcheol, chief of the Gyeongnam Provincial Police Agency, has been appointed deputy commissioner general of the National Police Agency. Ko Beom-seok, chief of the Jeonnam Provincial Police Agency, will lead the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, while Yoo Seung-ryeol, director of investigation planning and coordination at the National Office of Investigation, has been named chief of the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency.
The National Police Agency said on the 1st that it carried out personnel transfers for chief superintendent general and assistant commissioner posts for the second half of 2026. Kim, Ko and Yoo had previously been nominated for promotion to chief superintendent general last month.
